HORSES aren’t common (平常的) in the city of Suffolk, US. But a new program (活动) makes them a part of school life for some Huntington Middle School students.
The school began the program two months ago. There are 25 students in the program now. Early last month, these students visited a farm. They learned to clean, feed (喂) and ride horses. “The program is, first, to show students about horses,” said Anthony Hooper, CEO of the program. “And it teaches them how to look after animals and be responsible (负责任的) people.”
