Design of Ultrasonic Diastimeters based on Single Chip Microcomputer(SCM)
[Abstract] Car reversing aid system,also known as Smart Parking Guidance System,is an auxiliary device for safe car parking.It informs drivers of surrounding barriers by means of sound or visual display so as to solve troubles involved in car parking and starting,It can help problems related to blind spots and blurry vision,thus safety level is improved.It usually consists of ultrasonic sensors( detectors),controllers and indicators,etc.At present,car reversing aid systems on the market mostly are based on ultrasonic ranging principle:when a driver reverses his/her car,after start the car reversing aid system,detectors on the rear bumper transmit ultrasound,which echoes on obstacles.After receiving the echoes,sensors start data processing via controllers to detect the location of the barriers,then indicators will show the distance and send warning signals.Getting the signals,drivers are fully informed of the situation to make an easy and safe task of reversing vehicles.Prompting modes of car reversing aid systems come in three types:LCD(liquid crystal display),langauge and sound.Receiving modes can be wire or wireless transmission.In this project,voice alarm mode was used.
The paper introduces the car reversing aid system based on AT89C51; it boasts of low cost,high accuracy,micro scale,digital display,audible and visual alarm.By means of external circuit alarm of AT89C51SCM,circumscribed with ultrasonic ranging module,a car reversing radar system is compsed as is shown in the illustration.luminous diodes and hummers can warn about obstacles within 5 meters.
