A 这里read 直接做及物动词,也就是说 read more children's magazines.而不是read about more children's magazines .read 有不及物动词的用法,但是这里意思不对.据个例子：she is reading for doctorship.没有什么固定搭配,要根据句意.像本句.
need to .unnecessary是没必要的意思,前一句是it做形式主语.代替to move our desks.所以当主语装换成主语是we时,要用表示没必要的短语.need to 应该是对的,可能还有别的短语,也是对的.
